Always person-centered, I primarily practice an integration of attachment-based therapy, including DARe, alongside my work as a somatic psychotherapist. I utilize Somatic Experiencing®, a neuro-scientific, body-based approach to trauma therapy that addresses the various side effects of trauma. Additionally, I incorporate Gestalt Therapy, which is awareness-based, relational, experiential, and existential. I am also trained in "Eye of the Needle" work, which helps renegotiate and integrate traumatic near-death experiences, as well as Brainspotting, another neuro-scientific modality for processing stress and trauma. When appropriate, I also employ Motivational Interviewing, Expressive Arts Therapy, and CBT. Read more...
I offer sessions both in person and online. If you choose the virtual option, rest assured that I utilize a HIPAA-compliant and secure program, and you won't need to download any software. All you need is a device with a camera and microphone, along with a private space to engage with me.
I understand you may have hesitations or fears in considering therapy, and will gladly address any concerns or questions you may have about the process. Individuals of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual identities and preferences, neuro-types, body types, abilities, spiritual or religious affiliations, adult ages, socioeconomic, and citizenship statuses are warmly invited.
